Located midway between New York City and Miami, the Brunswick Islands of NC are easy to get to from just about anywhere. Just south of Wilmington, NC, daily connecting flights to the New Hanover International Airport, 2½ miles north of Wilmington, via US Air (through Charlotte), Midway Airlines (through Raleigh/Durham) and Atlantic Southeast Airlines (a Delta connection through Atlanta) make the Brunswick Islands easily accessible..
All major rental car agencies are available at the airport, as well
as taxi and limousine service. If you're traveling by car, the Brunswick
Islands are accessible from US 17, which links to Interstate 40
north of Wilmington, NC. Interstate 95, 85 and 77 can be accessed
from I-40.
